Privacy Policy
This Policy applies to the iOS version, Android version, and any other future platform versions of the App. Due to differences in operating system capabilities, permission models, and notification features, certain permissions or features described in this Policy apply only to the relevant platform.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to the medication reminder and tracking application developed and operated by Shanghai Bohe Information Technology Co., Ltd. (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The App is a closed-loop medication reminder tool designed to help users create medication schedules, receive medication reminders, confirm medication outcomes, track medication history, and optionally manage medication inventory. The core purpose of the App is to keep each scheduled medication event visible and actionable until the user records a clear result.
We understand that medication records, medication times, missed doses, skipped doses, and related information may reveal your health condition, treatment status, or medication habits. Such information may be considered sensitive personal information or health-related data. Therefore, we follow the principles of lawfulness, fairness, necessity, transparency, and data minimization, and we only collect and process information necessary to provide the App’s features.
Please read this Policy carefully before using the App. If you do not agree with this Policy, please stop using the App.
1. Information We Collect
To provide medication reminders, closed-loop tracking, medication history, inventory management, and cloud synchronization, we may collect the following types of information.
1.1 Medication Plans and Medication Records
Information that you actively enter or that is generated during your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Medication name;
- Medication type or appearance, such as tablet, capsule, liquid, topical medication, etc.;
- Medication color;
- Medication specification, such as 500 mg, 5 mg/mL, 10 g, etc.;
- Dose amount, dose unit, and scheduled medication time;
- Medication schedule, such as daily, specific weekdays, every few days, or cycle-based schedules;
- Long-term medication use or treatment start and end dates;
- Status of each medication event, such as taken, remind later, skipped, missed, or manually corrected;
- Historical medication records, including on-time use, delayed use, skipped doses, missed doses, and manual corrections.
This information is used to create medication plans, trigger reminders, record medication outcomes, display medication history, and support later correction, undo, or manual updates.
1.2 Inventory Management Information
If you enable inventory management, we may collect:
- Current medication inventory quantity;
- Inventory unit;
- Amount deducted per dose;
- Low-inventory reminder threshold;
- Refill or inventory change records.
This information is used to automatically deduct inventory after you confirm a dose as taken and to remind you when your medication may be running low.
1.3 App Settings and Preferences
To provide a personalized and consistent experience, we may collect:
- Language setting;
- Theme setting;
- Default tracking window;
- Reminder escalation level, such as gentle, balanced, or assertive;
- Notification-related settings and status;
- Other preferences related to reminder experience, interface display, and localization.
1.4 Account and User Identifier Information
To enable cloud synchronization, multi-device consistency, and user data separation, we may create or record account-related identifiers, including:
- User ID;
- Guest account identifier;
- Login status or device association status;
- Information necessary for account recovery, data synchronization, or deletion requests.
If you use the App with a guest account, the App may still create a temporary user identifier on our server to separate your data and enable cloud synchronization. A guest account may not provide the same level of stable data recovery as a registered account. If you uninstall the App, change devices, clear App data, lose local login status, or reset your system, you may not be able to reconnect to your previous medication data. If you need long-term storage or cross-device access, we recommend binding or creating a formal account.
1.5 Device and System Information
To help ensure reminder accuracy, visibility, and reliability, we may collect or read the following device status information:
- Device operating system type and version;
- Device time zone;
- App version;
- Notification permission status;
- Availability of iOS Live Activities;
- Status related to iOS Time Sensitive Notifications;
- Android notification permission status;
- Android notification channel status;
- Android exact alarm permission status;
- Battery optimization, background restrictions, or other system states that may affect reminder scheduling.
We do not access device content unrelated to medication reminders, such as contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera, SMS messages, or call history.
2. Sensitive Personal Information and Health-Related Data
Medication names, dosage, medication times, medication records, missed doses, skipped doses, inventory information, and similar data entered or generated in the App may reveal your health condition, treatment status, or medication habits. Such data may be considered sensitive personal information or health-related data.
We only process such information where necessary for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing medication plans;
- Sending medication reminders;
- Tracking pending medication events;
- Recording taken, skipped, missed, or manually corrected medication outcomes;
- Displaying medication history and calendar summaries;
- Managing inventory deduction and low-inventory reminders;
- Enabling cloud synchronization and multi-device consistency;
- Handling your requests to access, correct, delete, or manage your data or account.
We do not use your medication data for targeted advertising, marketing profiling, or commercial promotion. We do not sell, rent, or unlawfully provide your medication data to third parties.
3. Device Permissions and System Features
To provide closed-loop medication reminders, the App may request or use the following permissions and system features depending on your device platform.
3.1 Notification Permission
The App may request notification permission on iOS or Android to send medication reminders at scheduled times and to send repeated or escalated reminders when you have not confirmed a medication event.
If you disable notification permission, the App may not be able to send medication reminders, but medication plans and history records inside the App may still remain available.
3.2 iOS Time Sensitive Notifications
On iOS, for balanced or assertive reminder scenarios, the App may use Time Sensitive Notifications to improve the visibility of important medication reminders on the lock screen, in notification summaries, or during Focus modes.
You can manage notification permissions and Time Sensitive Notification settings in iOS system settings.
3.3 iOS Live Activities
When supported and allowed by iOS, the App may use Live Activities to continuously display pending medication status on the lock screen, Dynamic Island, or other supported system surfaces, allowing you to view and handle a pending medication event more easily.
Live Activities are intended to improve the visibility of pending medication events. However, their display, duration, update frequency, and interaction capabilities may be affected by iOS version, system settings, battery status, system policies, or permission status. If Live Activities are unavailable, the App may fall back to local notifications, in-app pending medication cards, or other available reminder methods.
3.4 Android Notification Permission and Notification Channels
On Android, the App may use notification permission and notification channels to send regular reminders, follow-up reminders, low-inventory reminders, or persistent actionable notifications.
You can disable notification permission or adjust notification channels in Android system settings. Doing so may affect the timeliness, visibility, and closed-loop tracking capability of medication reminders.
3.5 Android Exact Alarm Permission
To help scheduled medication reminders trigger as accurately as possible, the App may request Android exact alarm permission or equivalent scheduling capability.
If you deny or disable exact alarm permission, the App may still send reminders in a fallback mode, but reminders may be affected by battery optimization, background restrictions, or manufacturer-specific system policies and may not trigger precisely on time.
3.6 Android Persistent Actionable Notifications
Android does not provide a system feature exactly equivalent to iOS Live Activities. The App may use persistent actionable notifications to display pending medication status when there is an unresolved medication event and to provide quick actions such as taken, remind later, or skip.
This capability is used only when there is an actual pending medication event and is not intended for unrelated background persistence.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- To create, display, and manage your medication plans;
- To send medication reminders at scheduled times;
- To send repeated reminders, escalated reminders, or persistent status displays when you have not confirmed a medication event;
- To help each scheduled medication event reach a clear result, such as taken, skipped, missed, or manually corrected;
- To allow you to take actions directly from notifications, such as taken, remind later, or skip;
- To automatically deduct inventory after you confirm a dose as taken;
- To send low-inventory reminders when medication may be running low;
- To generate medication history, calendar summaries, and daily records;
- To support undoing accidental taps, manually correcting missed doses, or updating historical records;
- To enable cloud synchronization and multi-device consistency;
- To perform necessary service maintenance, troubleshooting, security protection, and user support;
- To process your requests for data deletion, correction, account deletion, or other privacy rights.
We do not use your medication profiles, medication records, or health-related data for targeted advertising. We do not sell such data to third parties. We do not share your medication data with family members, other users, healthcare institutions, or marketing organizations without your explicit authorization, unless required by applicable law.
5. Data Storage, Synchronization, and Security
5.1 Cloud Storage
The App uses cloud servers as the primary storage location for your data. Your core medication data may be stored on servers and databases managed by us or provided by cloud service providers on our behalf. This allows data synchronization, account association, medication history access, and multi-device consistency.
The client device only keeps data necessary for notification scheduling, offline display, or temporary local state. The local device database is not the primary source of truth for your medication data.
5.2 Data Synchronization
When you add a medication, modify a schedule, confirm a dose, skip a medication, manually correct a record, update inventory, or change settings, the App may synchronize the relevant data to our cloud server through a network connection.
If the network is unavailable, some data may be temporarily stored locally and synchronized when the network becomes available again. Synchronization failures may cause temporary inconsistencies between devices.
5.3 User Data Separation
We use user IDs, guest account identifiers, or other account association methods to separate data belonging to different users and reduce the risk of data confusion between users.
5.4 Transmission Security
Data transmitted between the client and the server is protected using HTTPS/TLS or other secure transmission protocols to reduce the risk of interception, tampering, or leakage during transmission.
5.5 Storage and Access Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including but not limited to:
- Access control;
- Database permission separation;
- Server-side API authentication;
- Necessary logging and security auditing;
- Backup and recovery mechanisms;
- Secure server configuration;
- Necessary verification for sensitive operations.
However, please understand that no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We will make reasonable efforts to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee that information will never be leaked, damaged, or lost under all circumstances.
6. Data Retention
To allow you to view medication history, manually correct missed doses, update historical records, and review medication adherence, we retain your medication plans, medication records, inventory records, and related settings while your account remains active.
When you delete your account or submit a deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your account and related medication data after completing necessary account association verification.
In some cases, certain data may need to be retained for a limited period after your deletion request, including:
- Where retention is required by applicable law or regulation;
- Where necessary for system security, auditing, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution;
- Where data remains in backup systems and will be deleted according to backup update cycles;
- Where necessary to retain processing records related to your request.
Except for the above circumstances, we will not retain your personal information longer than necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
7. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
The current version of the App does not provide family notifications, caregiver sharing, or third-party marketing features.
We do not sell, rent, or use your medication data for third-party targeted advertising.
To provide basic technical services, we may use the following types of third-party service providers:
- Cloud server or database providers;
- Logging or crash analytics services;
- SMS service providers;
- Email service providers;
- App distribution platforms, such as Apple App Store or Google Play;
- Other technical service providers necessary for App operation, security maintenance, and user support.
These service providers may process relevant data only within the scope necessary to provide their services to us and are expected to comply with appropriate data protection obligations. They are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
If we later integrate third-party SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporting tools, advertising services, or other external services that collect or process personal information, we will update this Policy accordingly and, where necessary, provide additional in-app notice or obtain your consent.
We may disclose relevant information in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit authorization;
- As required by applicable laws, regulations, courts, or competent authorities;
- Where reasonably necessary to protect the personal, property, or legal rights of you, other users, us, or the public;
- Where necessary to handle security incidents, fraud, misuse, or disputes.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You may exercise the following rights regarding your personal information and medication data in accordance with applicable laws.
8.1 Access and Review
You can view your medication list, medication plans, medication history, inventory information, and related settings in the App.

- If you uninstall the App, change devices, clear App data, lose login status, or reset your system, you may not be able to recover previous data;
- If you need long-term storage, cross-device access, or reduced risk of data loss, we recommend binding or creating a formal account.
We will make reasonable efforts to protect data under guest accounts. However, because guest accounts may lack stable identity verification, data recovery may be limited.
10. Protection of Minors
The App is primarily intended for adults who are capable of managing their own medication reminders.
If a minor uses the App, they should do so with the consent and guidance of a parent or legal guardian. The guardian should help the minor enter medication information correctly and understand that the App only provides reminders and records, not medical advice.
If we discover that we have collected personal information from a minor without appropriate guardian consent, we will delete the relevant information as soon as reasonably possible after verification, unless otherwise required by law.
11. Cross-Border Data Transfers
The App is designed for international use. Your data may be stored in the region where our service servers are deployed.
If it becomes necessary to transfer your personal information to servers or service providers outside your country or region for service deployment, data backup, technical support, troubleshooting, or user support, we will take necessary measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, such as providing notice, obtaining consent where required, entering into data processing agreements, implementing security safeguards, or completing other compliance procedures.

Medication information entered in the App should be based on the instructions of your doctor, pharmacist, medication label, or other qualified healthcare professional.
If you need to adjust medication, stop medication, change medication, increase or reduce dosage, handle missed doses, or respond to adverse reactions, please consult a doctor or pharmacist promptly.
13. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy based on product changes, legal requirements, or changes in data processing practices.
If we make material changes to this Policy, such as changes to:
- The types of personal information collected;
- The purposes or methods of data processing;
- Data sharing recipients;
- How you can exercise your rights;
